I shared my experience building headless websites with modern tech and the benefits of Headless WordPress. PS: My first talk!
Life Updates
2023
Volunteer at WordCamp Ahmedabad
The year 2023 has truly been great for me from the start. I volunteered at WordCamp Ahmedabad, and I applied and got selected, which made me feel lucky.
This WordCamp was attended by over 1,000 people, and I felt fortunate to contribute.
My responsibilities included helping at the registration table and serving as a timekeeper for the speakers. I also had the chance to meet amazing people from the community.
Speaking at WordCamp Udaipur
Oh boy, this was a roller coaster ride for me—from having zero experience to speaking directly at WordCamp! I truly have no words to describe those feelings.
Just before WordCamp, I updated my session flow twice because I was so nervous; I felt like I was preparing for an exam.
When I attended WC Kerala 2023, I thought I would be a speaker at WordCamp, but I never imagined it would happen in the same year.
Since Udaipur is my hometown, I thought, ‘Let’s try it; what could go wrong?’ I practiced a lot for my session on Headless WordPress, covering a technical topic with a demo, which is not an easy task.
Somehow, I managed to complete the session without any issues. I received lots of positive feedback, made amazing new friends, and had a great time at the before and after parties.
My First iPhone
I never thought I would do this because, to me, mobile phones don’t add as much value compared to laptops.
I never considered buying an iPhone since I’ve always appreciated Apple more for its laptops and PC series.
But unexpectedly, I got an iPhone 13, and now I’m part of the Apple ecosystem.
Attended first WordCamp - WordCamp Kerala 2023
I had never been to such a large community event before. I had attended meetups, but WordCamp was like 100 times bigger than those events.
We flew from Ahmedabad to Kochi Airport and attended the event. The energy I saw in people for WordPress was truly amazing. I attended some great sessions, and I think someday I’ll be a speaker at WordCamp.
After WordCamp, I also visited Munnar, which had been on my bucket list for a long time. I had an amazing time during this journey.
Purchased First MacBook
When I say my first MacBook, it’s because I’m sure I’ll purchase another one if I need one in the future.
It’s a great machine. It was a dream come true for me—I had always wanted a MacBook, especially one with the glowing Apple logo behind the screen. Sadly, Apple no longer makes those, but the one I got with the M2 chip is working great for me.

Started my Second Job
After leaving Cypherox, I started working at Globally Digital
2019
Started my first Job
I started my first IT job at Cypherox Technologies. I made great friends here, people I’m still in touch with and working closely with. At Cypherox, I learned so much, which helped me grow both personally and professionally.
Moved to Ahmedabad
It wasn’t an easy decision at all, but it was one of the best decisions of my life and proved to be a major turning point. It changed everything, including the places I lived, the language I spoke, the food I ate, and the people around me.
2017
Worked with amazing people
After some time, I got a job at a production company. It was an amazing journey where I had the chance to learn so many things. It felt like a small introduction to the corporate world and i can proudly say that i know how to use MS Excel.
Job Hunt started
After completing my 12th grade, I was so confused about what to do next and which stream would work for me. Instead of deciding on a course, I started job hunting.
2015
Science Stream
I chose the PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) stream, not really sure why.
I thought I could become a doctor just by taking Biology, but that dream didn’t last long.
I was more intrested in Space.Getting my hands on Photoshop
This was when I was in 11th grade, and I got the chance to use Photoshop.
It was a wow 🤯 moment for me because there were so many things to do! Before that, I was just using MS Paint to draw names and nature scenes.
While I wasn’t great at it, I loved it. In Photoshop, I discovered a world of creativity where I could manipulate images and try to bring my imagination to life.
Getting my hands on Cyber Security
I have always been more interested in what happens behind the scenes—not just in computers, but in everything.
Yes, I’m a BIG overthinker! I learned about cybersecurity by reading books and newspapers. In the early days with my laptop, I didn’t have access to the internet like we do today; back then, I had to purchase 1GB of data to use for an entire month, which limited my ability to explore.
Today, I’m still exploring this field, and sometimes I even think about switching careers.

Recover the lost data
While installing a new OS, 8 out of 10 times my hard drive would be erased, and I didn’t have any spare backups.
As a result, I’ve spent countless sleepless nights trying to recover the lost data using different tools.
Computer is my friend
Yes, it can be. As an introvert, I have spent most of my time on my Acer Aspire E1-431 laptop.
I haven’t done much else other than watching movies and installing new operating systems every three months, from Chrome OS to Android OS, Kali Linux, Ubuntu, and every version of Windows from Vista to 10.
Great Childhood
I had a great childhood. Not in the way of having a golden spoon in my mouth, but I had a wonderful childhood in my own way, despite all the changes that eventually helped me prepare for the upcoming challenges.
